Welcome to Rodney’s Plants Plus

Welcome to winter…the frosts are settling over Canberra and it won’t be long until the hills around us are dusted with snow.
I think Canberra is one of the best places to live, with its distinct four seasons that give us all something to look forward to. Even with winter upon us, the clear sunny days make the garden a beautiful place to be.
Splashes of colour in garden beds or pots, with pansies, violas, primulas, alyssum, and the gorgeous polyanthus make a wonderful show. Check out our planting guide for the best vegetables and annuals to plant now.
One of my favourites is Stock plants, a great winter annual with a sweet scent and beautiful flowers.
Don’t forget to come in for your fruit trees and deciduous trees this month and your roses next month, we will have an amazing range to choose from. Read about Rodney's Top 4 Trees for your garden in our Whats On/News section.
Check out our Tuesday Talks, Rodney will be talking about growing and caring for fruit trees as well as Greg giving a talk on growing and caring for roses.
The Cafe has a new menu for winter with some delicious dishes to warm you up. Come in and see the us for a delicious lunch or coffee and indulgent cake.
